One of my most favorite things was getting to see the petroglyphs. These were done by the Pueblo Indians eight to nine hundred years ago. They are etched into the volcanic rock that is scattered all over the Southwest. Some of them are symbols for trade or culture, some the means aren't known so Matthew and I had a good time trying to figure them out.
