Just Checking In

I still didn't have the PET scan, could be I've developed Diabetes and so for the next few days as I'm tested and prodded and given something to get my sugar down to take a Pet Scan, I'm a little distracted. I'm ok, just another hurdle I guess.
I'll be back soon. And I'm hanging in there. Just need sometime to take it all in and deal with it.

I am suddenly PRE diabetic, which, when my brother has it, is just about the same thing as having it...dear robbin, I am sorry to hear you have another hurdle to jump and really want you to have that PET scan done so you can know how things are...oh well..acceptance acceptance acceptance-I keep telling myself. not much else to do but cope I guess....I am sending you healing thoughts and anything else I can do this far away! I am very glad you posted, just so I know you are doing sort-of-OK.... :/\

Hi Linda, yeah, the steroids it seems have caused me to have diabetes and my Dr. says when I am off them it should go away. They have me on something to control it and I hope it works. I am weary but hanging on.

I am very glad to hear the diabetes goes with the steroids, awful drugs in themselves.....take care, dear one...I am holding you in my heart.

Hi Meemaw, thanks for dropping by, and what are you even doing up so late doing bills? Sounds like the weird schedule of mine at times, only I go to sleep and then I'm awake at three thirty in the morning.

Working the night shift x28 years. I am queen of insomnia! On the my nights off, my head says,ok time for bed, but the rest of my body says ,oh no you don't, your suppose to be awake! So I don't fight it anymore, I just stay awake all night on my night off.
Crazy I know.
