Bottles

I used to have a thing for bottles. I collected them but I couldn't choose exactly a specific kind I wanted to collect, I loved them all. Pretty soon there was no room to display them. So one day I decided I'd have to keep only a few and throw away the others. It was hard but I did it. But even now, if I see a pretty bottle I want to take it home with me and start my collection all over again.

I used to collect crackle glass. I think it is so pretty when the sun shines through it. My collection started taking over, so I haven't gotten any new pieces in a long time.

I recently started getting items with bumblebees. Bumblebees just make me smile!!

I love glass Linda, and I would love to learn how to make glass beads. Bumblebees are nice. I like them too. Funny how we go through periods of collecting things that make us smile. I'm like that too!

I have no idea why, but I am attracted to pitchers. No not baseball pitchers, but the type you pour liquid refreshment from. I have to talk myself out of buying another if I see one I like. Sometimes I look at my pitchers and wonder why I collect them, I think about giving them away, and then I know I don't want to part with them. The other day I was in a gift shop and saw these little monster finger puppets. They are so cute and colorful, I put them on the ends of my pens at work hoping they will scare people away. I want more and went back to the store today but they are sold out. I'm addicted and want the whole set. I'm happy they only cost 60 cents each. I figure when I get tired of them I can give them away to kids when they visit.

That's so funny Catherine Mary, who knows why we get attached to what we do! I have a thing for containers, anything with a lid, I'd buy every kind if I didn't stop myself, go figure!
