Another 3 digit temp day today. They keep telling the older people to stay in their houses but I think they are tougher than those of us who aren't all that old. These people are the ones who didn't have air conditioning until they were grown. These people worked the fields during times like this. They washed clothes outside by boiling water on a fire, they slept five and six to a bed with no air conditioning or fans! And they are tough let me tell you!
The ones of us who have never lived without air conditioning are the ones who need to be careful.

I think you're right. I hadn't thought of it that way. I talked to my dad today, and he said going outside feels like opening an oven!!
Oh it does feel like that Linda, it takes your breath when you walk out. We're breaking all kinds of records, hottest temps in 20 years.
