I got Books & Mercy, how's that for a good day?

I ordered two books from Amazon that came today. One is by a Doctor who had cancer and it is what she believes to be the best foods to eat when you have cancer and while you are going though Chemo. I'm a big believer in what we eat having so much to do with how we feel and what happens to us. I don't think God made any foods we should not enjoy or eat but I do think balance is the key. So I am anxious to read it. And the second book is on a lighter side called,"I'd Rather do Chemo Than Clean Out the Garage." It is written by a lady who has lived with cancer for twenty years.

I'm still feeling really good. Thank goodness. Maybe I'm getting a break here to begin with. Maybe I'm being granted a little mercy. Maybe you guys give me so much power my body is responding. I could use a little mercy, so I'm taking it as I get it. Thank you God, thank you all, thank you BIG drug company who makes magic expensive pills. And thank you Blue Cross & Blue Sheild who approved them. Thank you (you know who you are) who told me you weren't good at praying but you were doing it yesterday for me. Thank you family for supporting me and caring. And thank you Sweetie for watching over me even when you are sleeping, if you hear me moving around you open one eye to watch me and if I get out of your sight you come to where I am.

Hopefully this is a trend that will hold. One day down, a few to go.

Welcome Rapunzel,
Thank you for visiting me as well. And for your prayers for me as well. I read where your Mom got out of the hospital, I'm so glad. Prayers will continue from here.

Aisling, thanks for peeking in. I'll let you know about the books. The one on food goes into great deal of info how cells in our body and how they work (she is a Dr.) and it is surprising interesting to me because she explains in terms I can understand. I thought at first, "OH NO! I don't want to know all that but it is really interesting for now so that is a good thing.
